A message from the sky

Today, a crow flew by my windshield. He was carrying a cheeto in his beak.

What could it mean?

Is it the end of days? Or perhaps someone spilled a snack? Or maybe the crow is looking to clog his arteries? Is orange the new black?

Hard to tell with omens.

Without regard to the message, it was a striking image, from a color point of view. Close your eyes, just for two seconds, and visualize it.

Cheezy!

You can't get much more of a colour juxtaposition than that: a jet back bird carying a snack product that's a colour not found in nature.

Quick, buy the stocks of cheeto! :)

Or, in my case, buy Powerball tomorrow!

It's clearly got to mean something. I think it means that cheese dust RULES! :) I love a good cheeto now and again.

A very striking image though, I'm sure.

Thankfully, the crow did not leave and orangeish 'present' on your windshield.

Orange and black -- is it Halloween already?

I so admire your ability to discern exactly which nasty human snack the crow was carrying (carrion?) as he flew by. It would have been a vague blob to me.

I think the omen is that you should keep your eyes on the road while driving. (Don't thank me. I'm here to help:)

gordo, the cheesist! There is no mistaking that color.

mother hen, but what are my numbers?

etk, i too love cheetos, but haven't had one in years.

lynn, that would have been a statement. Orange poop.

hearts, i have a quick eye for a cheeto. Thanks for your interpretation. I'll keep it in mind.

Obviously it means you need more cheesy poofs in your life. We have a crow in our neighborhood that meows like a cat.

You are DOOMED to love Cheetos for the rest of your life! That, or crows just can't resist a cheesy snack.

it is a widely known fact that cheeto carrying crows are the fourth horsemen of the apocalypse.

say your goodbyes now.

I looked it up: the ancients believed that a crow carrying a Cheeto symbolized the turnaround of the economy and a good orange cheese harvest.

Maybe he's misinformed about carbohydrate loading?

maybe he had just come from a cheeto tree

It's the cheesiest.

meno said...

fiwa, do you ever look for the cat and then realize it's the crow?

sally, OH NO! I was afraid of that.

flutter, bending over and kissing my ass goodbye.

mrs. chili, you made me laugh!

jaded, didn't he read the packaging?

furious, must be as those are common trees around here.

egan, that's what he said!

Did you know you can teach a crow to speak? My sister did her thesis on crows...seriously.

If I had seen it myself I would have thought it was a sign from the gods that I should not be dieting. Seriously, I'd love a sign like that right about now.

If it starts raining Cheetos from a clear black sky ('round about midnight) in your neck of the woods...well...I'm gonna crap my pants!

Just sayin'

I just love the image--no clever retort, no pun, no homage to old jokes. A black bird in a blue sky with an orange treat. You can't pose photos like that. Thanx for sharing!

I love the puffy ones, myself.

ttq, that is seriously cool!

I love how a crow holding a Cheeto can make for excellent blog fodder. Love it :)

P.S. Thank you for your kind words for Molly today; I appreciate it.

we have so many crows round here and they always seem to pick-up the oddest stuff - someone told me they are nature's garbage collectors - I can only imagine what their nests look like

dianne, probably like my deak!

jennster, believe me, if i hadn't been driving, that crow would have been TOAST.

It is kind of a weird image, isn't it? Just goes to prove that crows are not the smartest thing around. Or it was real hungry.

Cheetos are taking over the world...

The image makes me laugh! Hungry crow is all I can think of....

meno said...
