Sunday Bloody Sunday

I am SO sick of being a female right now.  I never know what's going to happen.  It's like playing Russian Roulette where the gun is my uterus and the target is my underpants.

Oh, and Happy New Year, a little late.

Things are slowly returning to normal after a big upset, about which i cannot tell you.  But the gist is, it's time for me to grow up.  I am having some success with that actually.  But it's interesting how long i clung to a behavior that wasn't really working to make me happy.  Us humans do not like change.

Peace y'all. Miss you.  Really, i do.

I hope things work as you want - or need them to.

Missed you too.

I've MISSED you! I'm glad you're back, and I hope to see more of you.

I'm getting ready to start having a period again after many (blissful) years of not. Let's just say that I'm less than excited about it...

clinging IS interesting...but I think it is also just habitual. Habits can suck. Welcome back friend!

Ah, growing up sucks! I can remember wishing forever to be a grownup, and now I just wish there weren't so much baggage that goes with it. It's crap.

I hope things work out right. I think about you often.

Welcome back! I also hope to see you here more often.

I don't know much about your female issues personally, but I have gotten the idea that in some ways it is easier to be a male. But I am sure glad that you females are different from us males!

As to growing up, one of the biggest challenges is trying to decide what you want to be when you grow up. I guess that is an advantage of becoming a Senior Citizen in that I DON'T CARE anymore. I am what I am.

miss you too.

the hardest part about change is knowing it needs to happen. so you know, you've got a jump on it now.

Recognizing behavior that isn't working for us can be difficult. I am having some growing up struggles of my own. I too hate change (like when they decide to change the arrangement of your favorite store).Congrats on your success. Ditto.

I think that most of us, if we're honest, are sick of being female at least 1/3 of the time.

Sending good thoughts that when the dust settles, the arrangement will be exactly to your liking.

Ain't menopause grand? I actually ended up taking a pregnancy test, just to be sure.

Glad you're back and yes, growing up is hard work. Be kind to yourself though. All of our defense mechanisms were developed by children, us, to help us survive our families. It's just that they don't work so well for adults. Fortunately we're never too old to learn.

Let's see: 54 minus 11, that's 43 years of never ONCE getting through the month without a major laundry fiasco. I counted it as a good month if I managed to contain the damage to my own house.
