Back

I really don't know how to tell you about my trip.

It was both incredibly amazing and incredibly difficult.  Sometimes i would say to myself, "I just can't do this." because of the panic.  But then i did do it.

I just got home a few hours ago, and to Em's discomfiture, the minute i walked through the door, i collapsed on the floor and sobbed for 20 minutes.

My friend i went with is awesome.  A few times i just lost it, and she just handed me the the tissues and patted my back until i cried it out.

Damn this sucks, and i wish it would get better faster.

Maybe i'll post some pictures later and you can see some of the great wildlife.

Believe me when I tell you that I thought of you often while you were gone. Please continue to be patient with yourself; you're doing fine.

I'm glad you're back safely, Meno. I missed you. Please do post pictures when you are up to it so we can enjoy your trip vicariously, no matter how many tissues it takes.

Welcome home. I also missed your posts and was thinking about you while you were gone, hoping you were doing well. And I think you *are* doing well. The proof is that you panicked and then did it anyway. Lots of people are never that brave. I'm pinning an invisible Medal For Bravery to your chest for Panicking and Doing it Anyway. Congratulations! (hear all that applause?)

Just keep putting one foot in front of the of the, and breathe...Yeah the breathing thing is really important.

It would be nice to see pictures of wildlife that aren't threatening to turn my landscape into a salad bar ;)

The thought of unpacking always makes me collapse on the floor and weep, so it's probably that.

Glad you're back!

Welcome home.

Just keeping doing what you're doing and you'll get there. One trip to the Galapagos at a time.

I bet Machu Picchu was amazing.

Thought of you often while you were away. Glad you're back.

take care.

How strange. For some reason this post reminded me of the long-ago post where you were out hiking and came across the stuck car. Perhaps because you and Em reminded me of the "two mortified ladies".

It'll get better. Slowly but surely.

Hi, glad you're back. I know it's tough. I have nothing wise to say, just a friend here to let you know you're not alone.

Maybe tomorrow will be a little bit better. If not, maybe the next day. Focus on that possibility. It might help....
