Topless

I have decided to go topless for the entire weekend as a homage to the last few days of having scarless tits.  Anyone want to join me in solidarity?

On Monday morning i am having an excision biopsy for the (maybe) Phyllodes Tumor.  It turns out that Phyllodes can't truly be diagnosed without actually removing the whole thing.

So i get a two inch scar on my left breast.  My career as a breast double for Uma Thurman are over.  (Check them out in Dangerous Liaisons, i assure you, they are a work of art.)

The Mister is dubious over my decision to go topless.  I will probably listen to him, but he really is NO FUN!

I was all set to join you for a topless weekend (double entendre' intended) until you backed down at the last minute. The Mister REALLY IS no fun not to let us go topless.

I am sorry that you will have to give up body-doubling for Uma, I for one have *really* enjoyed your work.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Monday. Take care.

Good luck on Monday. Hope it is totally benign.

Uma does a lot of action films. I think you can still find work.

I think the Mister is completely wrong and you should proceed with your plans. Seriously, even if you have to stay home and be topless at home, do it, but I bet you could get a "t-shirt" air-brushed on and carry on.

I have a humongous scar that never keeps me from going bottomless.

I hardly think the Mister's opinion counts for anything -- they're not his tits.

You will be fine!!! I'm sure of it. And you will look even better than Ms. Thurman with that dashing, sexy pirate-lass scar. Really, they'll all be wanting one so they can look like YOU.

(I have an old-style C-section scar because there wasn't time for the bikini cut; it has never stopped me from wearing bikinis. Screw 'em if they can't take a joke.) Good luck, Sweetie!

I'm with De---you have great work ahead of you! And, from personal experience, I can say that a breast scar isn't too bad.

Hang tough, hon.

bob, you made me laugh! Again! And thank you.

Hi anne! Thank you for your wishes, it truly means a lot to me.

de, i think a scarred boob would have fit right in in Kill Bill. I wonder if an air-brushed on t-shirt would tickle?

jelli, ha! Hope you don't get a black eye from the topless tennis. :)

mrs. chili, thank you sweetie.

hearts, i totally agree with your sentiments and a little thing like a scar would not prevent me from going topless, in the appropriate setting. Thank you for your thoughts.

liv, hi there! It's good hear from someone with experience. I don't really care about the scar. Thanks for the thoughts!

Scar Sister Society. I join Liv in sending you good wishes. Hope you get results like we did. (Now, will you send me good wishes for my further down follow up next week?) xo, and, as they say in the vernacular, hang tough, hon.

Better a two-inch scar than something nasty you're not dealing with. Take no notice of the Mister, as Heart says they're not his tits. Best of luck with the biopsy.

I love the idea of a topless weekend. If I ever tried it, I'm afraid the multitudes would shout me down: "Put it on!".

I'm sending my best thoughts and wishes your way.

I love scars and the stories they tell. You can wear it proudly! And I'll join you in the topless thing...until I leave the house!

Best wishes for a good outcome.

I have to agree with you on old girl's shape--very shapely, tho I have to say she has very ugly feet to counterbalance those globes.

I've got nothing close to the emotional impact of having your breast incised upon, but I have a number of scars across my back and neck from having questionable moles removed. In the right light I look like Bar Shooting Victim #2 from The Godfather. Nick said it--better a scar than leaving it be. Knowing you're walking the Earth makes me smile, so you can't be leaving it anytime soon.

I hope all goes well! I'm sorry I showed up too late for topless weekend - I'm sure the kids league football & cheer squad would have enjoyed it.

I was topless much of Saturday, but I suspect it's not really the same thing.

Hope all goes well.

My stomach scar looks like a I25 on a map of Co. With my belly button right where I live, in Pueblo. Not sure why you need to know that, but there it is. Good luck.

sabra, i will most certainly send you good thoughts for your follow up. Ugh, i hate having my privates pokes at!

nick, thank you! no results yet, but at least the procedure is over.

peevish, that reminds me of the Joan Rivers line about her husband dressing her with his eyes. :) Thank you for the wishes.

tara, coward! :)

irrelephant, did you just call Uma old? You bastard! :) Thank you for the nice thoughts, i appreciate them.

laundry hater, oooh, braless! You are a brave woman. Don't hurt yourself, or scare the cats.

lilith, thank you, i really appreciate your good thoughts. I miss reading about your life and hope all is well with you.

gina, you can always celebrate another weekend.

clowncar, we used to live in CS and would drive through Pueblo on our way to Santa Fe. Thank you for participating, albeit unintentionally, in topless weekend.

scott, they are a great intro into stories, so i agree with you.

hearts, thank you for thinking of me. I am doing well. No results until Thursday, but the excision is over and i am not too beaten up.
