A bit of nature

An albatross on his/her egg.

 Blue-footed Booby.

 Pretty Crab.

 Handsome fellow.

 Iguanas snuggling.

The pelting spray of the sea.

See the sea lion patiently waiting for the man to finish fileting the fish?

Great shots, Meno! I always thought albatrosses hung around people's necks. The iguanas look anything but cuddly, but I've known a few and they are very cool animals. Sea spray is my thing, and so are sea lions. Thanks for sharing a bit of your trip with us.

The blue-footed booby has the exact same pose as one of those self-important doormen outside posh hotels. In fact he's probably looking for a taxi for the smooching iguanas.

I quietly hoped you would post a picture of the blue footed booby…Ever since I read Vonnegut's Galapagos, I wanted to know what they looked like . Though obviously I was too lazy to google ;)

As you scratch your head about my reading choice, I should mention I found the book on an airplane…

I love the boobies! Isn't it odd to see iguana's roaming about like squirrles?

Apparently the blue-footed booby is about due for a fan club. Alexander McQueen could probably have built an entire line around the blue-footed inspiration....
