A New Year's Wish for you all

May all of your dreams come true.

The Mister took this picture about 3 years ago. I always thought it would make a great holiday card, but we were too lazy to ever do anything about it.

Back to reality today, but first we spend a last few hours at the beach, squeezing all we can out of this beautiful San Diego day.

My best to each of you out there, the heard from and the unheard. Let's take charge of this new year.

Happy New Year, Meno! May the coming year be more wonderful than the last!

I hope you enjoyed every moment of your vacation. I'm only slightly envious... Okay, maybe a lot envious, but it doesn't make me love you any less! Enjoy the beach!

Happy 2008! May it be great! (And if we're taking charge, why wouldn't it be?)

I like the idea of "taking charge"... thanks for just saving me from having to make any useless New Year's resolutions. :-))

Happy New Year! Always remember you can take a piercing out for free, but a tatoo will cost thousands to remove. Tell you friends and loved ones to remind you of that when you have had too much vino..

Hey, you might actually come home to some sun!

Happy New Years - enjoy the last of your trip.

Happy New Year to all three of you!

I actually worked out today, for the first time in years. It felt fantastic. Besides, if I'm gonna keep drinking beer, I have to get in better shape. It's one or the other (being lazy or drinking beer), and there are way too many great microbrews here.

ms. chica, Take no bullshit, even from our husbands. That's one way to start.

gordo, i just wish we had done the card when we took the picture. It's much funnier when she was 14.

franki, you too young lady! No where but up from last year!

susanne, i'm glad you like the card. :)

furious, Happy New Year and no.

em, that isn't me, it's a 14 year-old Em, and no, she didn't.

cheesy, thank you ma'am!

holly, you're welcome. We all need constant reminders about who's really in charge of our happiness.

irrelephant, glad you like the photo. :D What could you possibly want to know about me?

jennifer, that sounds most excellent.

maggie, me too sister!

qt, i'm glad i got to know you too. And i hope it will continue.

tt, hi and welcome. Now i feel the pressure.

tink, you too sweetie!

sari, thank you. :)

peevish, thank you! Keep it up, that way you can eat, and drink, more.

Vacations do end but I guess that is a part of what makes them so much fun. You can look forward to the next one! You will find the weather a bit different here than what you have been experiencing in San Diego. Just a bit different.

I think a better xmas card would be an actually pierced Em (even if with photo shop) holding hands with her girlfriend underneath a lesbian tarot reading shop. I think your folks would love it. With a bottle of that wine from your previous post. Just sayin'.

Meno, the world hungers for knowledge of you! Plus this is ME we're talking about, not James's gonna be Special. *lol*
